After the strong return in the first quarter of 2019, April was a month of consolidation. Apart from the Nikkei Index, the other three indices in which the active leverage funds invest remained close to the closing price at the end of March.
From an economic point of view things are going well in all four countries from the perspective of the PMI. For all countries this number is above 50, which means that the economy is growing. For other economic data, we refer to the most recent factsheet.
